Introducing Shanling M7 - Portable Hi-Fi Android Player

Does anyone know the output impedance of the balanced output ? I know the specs say less than one ohm although where, the SE or the balanced output or is this an average.
I plan on purchasing an IEM that is rated for 8 ohms and need to clarify if this would work here.
Balanced output impedance also less than 1 ohm as stated by shanling on their website.
Shanling can confirm if it is otherwise.

Both outputs are less than 1 Ohm.

Also, if you say 8 Ohm impedance, at which frequency, does it have flat impedance curve or wild one? That's often more problematic to find than a simple specification on the DAP.

Yes I know, far as I know no manufacturer provides those exacting figures. The IEM I am planing to purchase says 8 ohms so I'm presuming this is the worst case figure.
So, does the M7 have a <1 ohm on a flat curve or wild one?

There is no impedance curve for DAP output, it's simply less than 1 Ohm.

Anyway, just sold my M7. Really can't take that fading in playback. Overall it's a very good device with a good sound and speedy CPU. But if you don't need the CPU and prefer more musicality and a better controlled treble I would get a used M8 instead.

There must be a GOOD reason this playback problem is never mentioned in any reviews.

Just bought a M7. Trying to update Firmware to 1.29 OTA and it's just so slow. Getting close though - 92% now.

OTA update is hosted on Chinese servers, some regions can run slower than others.

Manual update with files from Google Drive seems to be the fastest way for most.

Can you expand on the fading in playback issue, also how bright is the screen compared to other players if possible.
