It's the official store for Aliexpress. But it's not run by us, it's just another Chinese dealer.

He was just one of the reps on this forum who responded to something I said. They don't seem to be around as much as they used to be. Unfortunately, my M6u had a defective 4.4mm output so I had to return it and I took a refund after the dealer gave me a lame excuse as to what caused the problem. I have since picked up an M7 from classifieds and am very happy with it.

I remember that case, it was definitely bit strange on the side of the dealer. Sorry for that.

@Shanling Can you please share more specific numbers for the output impedance of the M3 Ultra and M6 Ultra (preferably for all ports)? For some IEMs and headphones "< 1 Ohm" doesn't provide enough information whether it would (or at least could) be a good match. Tnx much...

It's around 0.4 for SE and 0.8 for balanced, same for both models.

Hello,
I had the Dap in the shop today for testing.
Like its predecessor, the m6 2021,
There's a world of difference between the two, both in terms of sound and operation.

With the Ultra, I liked Android 10, which ran quite smoothly.
The sound with the Letshouer Z12 was a great ear opener.
Bluetooth bidirectional, connection via Bluetooth from the smartphone to the Ultra and using the smartphone to operate Tidal was great and there was nothing to complain about in terms of sound.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for more.

Personally, a Dap that leaves hardly anything to be desired.
The only thing missing would be the ability to set its preferred bit rate and bit depth, but otherwise I really enjoyed the Ultra in the short term and am thinking about buying it.
Technically, with its 4 chips and amplification, there was nothing to complain about.

Great work you have done Shangling, I am positively surprised by the M6 Ultra.

Please people refrain from buying this dap, as it has serious software issue.
Wifi speeds issue.
And @Shanling has also confirmed it and they don't have solution for this.
They lied me for 2 months saying that a update is promised to solve this.
So i suggest, if anyone facing problems with wifi speeds please return your devices as the company will not provide any support on this.
They just keep saying firmware update will fix this when you ask them when it is coming then they don't have answers.

Well, it sounds like they have a problem with the chipset, no? Maybe if you were clearer about the problem, someone could suggest something? My M6 Ultra is running around 200mbps down and 25mbps up on my 5gHz home network and about 25/15 on 2.4gHz. I mean, I wouldn't want my laptop running at that speed, but for a DAP it seems fine. This is definitely my favorite DAP of the ten or so I've tried...

Working fine with some routers, but most of wpa2 security routers having issues..

MY Asus GT-AX11000 is set up using WPA2/AES and it works fine. Anyhow, while I certainly think it sounds like Shanling should work harder with you to fix this, it sounds a bit specific to your configuration. You may want to pursue with the router manufacturer or relevant community.

Even their testing device is not working properly. And when asked for fix update they say no details about it.
And it is happening from long not only this device but also in other devices too.

I assume that the file "m3x firmware v1.7" is also meant for the M6 Ultra? When I try to do a local update, it just results in a popup "Upgrade failed! Error Code: 6"

Well, you should use the Shanling M6 Ultra Firmware V1.30 - not the MX3 one...

SMH - I didn't even see that link and just figured it was a catchall update file. sigh

In my defense, there's an odd popup when you try to download even the m6 ultra file that suggests direct download of the m3x ultra file. Anyway, thanks, that solved the problem (though I think I also needed to put it on the internal storage root).
