Well one thing is for sure. The Luna is a 1 driver system, so it will sound like a speaker.

The dk 4001 will have a much more intimate seperation of instruments and the psycho-acoustic effect will be superior with things sounding seperate from odd directions.

The Luna may be better for if you don't want to concentrate on such effects. Some people find such effects distracting. I find it cool.

I might be able to help with that for anyone interested. I should be getting the Luna shortly (I think it might ship out tomorrow). I also have the DK-4001 (and the 17th anniversary model). I will definitely write up a comparison. I can write an initial impression too if you like.

Of course! Small update: last I heard they were prepping my pair for laser engraving of my number and should ship any day now. I’ll keep everyone posted.
