IMR - R1 Thread

The connection is secure and not loose in the slightest? I've read mixed things because the entry angle is weird apparently on the R1?

I haven't even had it for 24 hours yet so maybe not the best judge but so far so good. I actually found the stock cable to come out a few times while I was battling to get them into my ears.

I think a few others on this thread have the same Aliexpress cable so hopefully one of them can give longer term feedback

Pink Filter x Symbio W

Now its sounding better than Pink Filter + JVC Spiral Dot combination. It gets uncomfortable on my ears after an hour of listening though.

I settled for Pink all around, but I was impressed with Black out of the box and the Copper is fun
What tips are you using together with the pink filter?

Can u suggest any good music player

Hi man. I only have auditioned these players so far:

Cayin N5ii = warm to neutral
Fiio X5iii = warm
Pioneer XDP-300R = balanced, neutral sounding (i decided to get this from those 3)

These are all android-based daps as i listen to streaming most of the time. But still have a good collection of FLACs as well.

What are your requirements for a DAP? Streaming? Balanced port needed? Sound signature? Budget?

I want any good quality music player which hav balenced souding.under 300 to 400 usd.
Can u tell me cylin n5ii,hidiz ap200 and ap80 and fiio x5 which is good sounded
Personally I would go for Cayin N5ii with that budget. Good SQ, features, and UI.

Hidizs ap200 id stay away from that. Very buggy.

Bob replied to my enquiry about the balanced cable and the upgrade it brings; turns out he would rather not comment on that as he deems it too subjective. Sound thinking actually.
