Does anyone have tried the lineout from X3? In my 2012 Mazda3 when i connect its lineout to car's AUX in, it overloads the car audio system! I had to use the headphone out at about 25-30 volume for normal listening. This was very surprising. I should note that with high quality FLACs, the lineout is much better but with my normal MP3 files (160-256 Kbps) this happens.

Similar to MEJazz, I'm looking at getting an X3 and using it as a source for my car stereo. Has anyone tried it in their BMW Mini Cooper? The reason I ask, is that I've have several devices headphone sockets break due to the wear of swapping between headphone leads and patch cables for the aux in of the car. How reliable are the 3.5mm sockets in the X3?

wish they would add a clock on this

wish people would stop asking for this.

it's impossible to do without an internal clock (RTC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_clock

Why is it that my $35 sansa clip player can effortlessly organize and play all my FLAC files and the $200 X3 cannot?

...because Sandisk is a company that worth US$14 billions and FiiO is tiny in comparison?

I know the X3 have a bass and treble boost equalizer, but the X5 has a 10 band graphical equalizer. Does the X3 now have more band equalizer under latest firmware update?
If not, any solutions for the X3 to have a multiple band eq?
