The Drop ZEN Signature has been sold out. Any other way to get it?I'll get back to you on this one shortly.
Yes, by design ZEN series DACs have only this one digital input.
There's Drop ZEN Signature
Thanks for that!

There's going to be another sales window on Drop. Probably several weeks from now on give or take.

Hi @iFi audio maybe a little off topic but I've been wondering, if i want a iFi DAC but also the bluetooth connectivity am I supposed to chain the Zen Blue to the Zen DAC? And if i wanted better amplification then that to the Zen Can?
I have the ifi ipower connected to the ZEN DAC... now if I buy the ZEN CAN that include another ifi ipower what could I do? Both DAC and CAN have to be used with ifi ipower, or if I join DAC and CAN only CAN could use the ifi ipower? Thanks

I’d go a Zen Blue and Zen CAN with what you want to do personally.Hi @iFi audio maybe a little off topic but I've been wondering, if i want a iFi DAC but also the bluetooth connectivity am I supposed to chain the Zen Blue to the Zen DAC? You’d use one power supply per unit. They don’t daisy chain power off of each other.I have the ifi ipower connected to the ZEN DAC... now if I buy the ZEN CAN that include another ifi ipower what could I do? I’m not good at describing subtle differences. I do think it sounds more immersive with the 3D setting enabled. Without that I can’t tell a difference personally with my Beyer T1.2. I haven’t tried my Fostex cans yet but I assume it’ll be the same.
Kindly post the fostex (hope it is planar) if you have spare time doing critical listening comparing headphone out from Zen DAC VS Zen Can both from 4.4 Balance.

It’s the Drop TH-X00 mahogany version so single ended. That said I can’t tell the difference between the DAC and CAN with my Fostex no matter what settings I use.Kindly post the fostex (hope it is planar) if you have spare time doing critical listening comparing headphone out from Zen DAC VS Zen Can both from 4.4 Balance.

copy that, thanks again. I was thinking the CAN will add coloration (good one) + bigger power to it

They're easy to drive and I assume on the lower end of "good gear". Regardless I still like them but not nearly as much as the T1.2scopy that, thanks again. I was thinking the CAN will add coloration (good one) + bigger power to it

let say, using same heavy cans and using same jack out put, how would you picture the VOL pot position on both DAC & CAN please?
Just a little bit off topic... About quality sound, audiophile, what do you suggest, open headset or closed? Thanks a lot

Well, do you need sound isolation or not? Cause open tends to sound better/wider, closed is limited.Just a little bit off topic... About quality sound, audiophile, what do you suggest, open headset or closed? Thanks a lot
