The Zen CAN will be powerful enough for anything. I don't know about the Zen DAC but it powers my Beyer T1.2 and Fostex TH-X00 mahogony headphones easily.

Drop has such interconnect as add-on if you buy the iFi 6xx signature edition amp.

The best way would be to go from ZEN DAC's (with its outputs fixed, not variable) 4.4mm balanced out to ZEN CAN's 4.4mm balanced in.

Yes, the 4.4 to 4.4 adapter is currently out of stock on Amazon, but you could purchase a 4.4mm to 2.5mm adapter and get a 2.5mm female to 4.4mm male adapter to make it work. Total would be under $35 from Amazon.
