My ears are really sensitive, once i hear the hiss, the hiss will bother me till the end. I have iematch for any of those cases. My andros back then is worse than your z1r for sure lol

yeb Andro is much more sensitive, i ordered iematch anw, just in case having sensitive iem in the future.
Beside that, xCan is so wonderfull. It's 3D+ improves Z1R's soundstage (and layers, details) so much to the point i have to admit i wow many times from all of my old songs.

yeb me too, i'll keep it untill iFi can launch new product which have updating features (3D++ and xBass+, maybe).

This is interesting, because I don't necessarily believe that digital is bad, I'm actually quite neutral on that, but MAN is the implementation on xDSD and xCAN nice

I guess that for me, I care the most about the final result when it comes to effects, and while i've no idea if anyone could make this same effect digitally, i do know that i like engaging the ones on xDSD and xCAN almost always while using them

I don’t consider myself an audiophile, just a little more than a casual music listener.

Walked into a local shop looking for a portable amp to pair with my JH 5 pro, and was almost instantly sold on the xCAN.

I had the Creative sxfi amp, but wasn’t impress with the muddy bass and the reverb in some of my music tracks, mainly AAC.

I think I like the holographic presentation of the xCAN and the bass is way tighter too. I connect to my iPhone via Bluetooth

The only thing is, I do get static sound coming on intermittently through my iem.
Is this normal?

I just to know there’s nothing wrong with the amp or the iem. I can live with that actually.

the static sound is due to sensitive IEM, it's not loud enough to bother me. But if you insist on dead silent background, ifi imatch is needed. I ordered 2.5mm one for me just in case.
