iFi audio xCAN - The Official Thread

Recently got a NIP xCAN and charged it, then did a little test listening and went to charge it back up for a trip next week and I am not getting a flashing LED. I plugged the same USB-A to USB-C cable into my phone and it started charging. So, does the battery need to be decently depleted before it will show the flashing charge LED?

Let me ask whether you're seeing any LED light upon connecting the product to a charger? Thanks!

None. It was flashing when I plugged it in the first time, and it does show white when on, however it did not light up when I plugged it back in after using it for a while.

I'm pretty sure that this LED should become active upon connecting your xCAN to a power source. Can you please use it until its battery is below 10% (then the RED LED should be flashing), connect a charger and see whether that changes anything? Thanks!

Yep, on a trip now so it will get used a good bit this week.

Cool, enjoy and please keep us posted, thanks!

This started working properly after a battery cycle.

Next question, will it damage the battery to leave this plugged in and use at my desk while not traveling?
