If you're a Windows person, You could use our iFi Bridge:
...which turns Pro iDSD into a Roon endpoint!

Interesting. I thought making the Pro iDSD Roon Ready would be software only. Is the issue that there is not enough memory in the iDSD to do that?I'm affraid that there's no chance for that as we'd have to rebuild Pro iDSD's inside, which is very unlikely if not impossible.
Pity ... such a great product with one big mistake ... i call it Muzo. But that should not distract from the fact that the Pro iDSD sounds amazing and despite of the Muzo player there are enough ways to get the bits to the iDSD and let it translate them to music.
Btw ... i read in a different forum about someone using a Bryston BDP as Roon Ready player. First, it is my believe that Bryston added that functionality as firmware upgrade so it must be software only.
Second, after doing some research i thought i needed release 2 of the BDP (currently release 3 is on the market) and i checked on ebay. I got one for about the same cost that i would pay for an SOTM plus power supply. The BDP 2 as built in linear power supply. It was somewhat of an experiment but it turns out that playing through the BDP 2 as Roon end point and then going to the iDSD via USB is great. Sounds great, i can use Roon and i can play all formats i currently need to use (FLAC 44-192, MQA).
The only downside is that the BDP2 is a little bulky.
Yeah it's amazing how that small DAC sound so good, yeah i know there is Chord too but it's not my sound signature.

Pro iDSD's XMOS chip is maxed out. We'd have to drop several important things to make space for Roon. The solution is iFi Bridge I put above.

Pretty much everything DLNA will work. Muzo isn't the only option

Just received my Micro iDSD Black Label.
It's hooked up to my iMac Pro with Tidal, playing MQA through my HD650's.
I have to say I am extremely impressed. The sound is simply astonishing. The space around each instrument is very noticeable and vocals are particularly impressive. This is very early impressions, of course - it is hardly what you would call run in - but I think this will comfortable sit in my upgrade path for the next set of headphones which would be in the $1500-$2000 mark and then as a DAC/Preamp to an upgraded desktop amp - and even if I won Lotto and bought a Chord Dave, this would still be my travelling system.
I considered Mojo and Poly but in the end saw just a few too many issues with various things to make me comfortable with the cost - another $500 on the iFi. Also, I do not use Roon so that wouldn't be a problem if it was not compatible.
I do have one question - how do I know what firmware is in my unit now? I do not have any access to a Windows machine, if that is relevant (I would no more give a Windows machine houseroom than I would a Betamax video recorder!).

Thanks for your short impressions. I'm happy that you like iDSD BL. It's a lot of a product for its price!
As for FW, can you please take a look here?

How to check firmware version of iFi products on Mac OSX?
- Click on the apple icon on the system bar
- Select “About this Mac”
- Click the “System Report” button
- Find “USB” under “Hardware” and select it
- Find “iFi (by AMR) HD USB Audio” and select it
- Look at “Version:”

Thanks. It says 5.30
5.30 is the latest one. Alternately you can try its sub-version 5.3c, which adds our GTO filter to all PCM signal.

OK. What is a GTO filter? I really only listen to streamed files from Today (up to MQA) and Spotify so I don't know if it would be useful.
