Currently my Wifi-router is connected to the Pro iDSD with an ethernet cable and my PC is connected to the router with a wireless 4G connection. I could also add another ethernet cable between the router and my laptop. Dumb question, but is that what you mean with a bridge mode?
Here's the router I'm using:

For bridge mode, here is a tutorial how to set it up. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-set-and-manage-network-bridge-connection-windows-10 The last step is important make sure you manual assign the bridged ethernet port with its own IP address.
Basically, you will connect your laptop to the internet via wifi to your router, you will have connect the Pro iDSD to your laptop via ethernet cable. The bridge mode allows your laptop to serve as a router and share the connection with Pro iDSD.
This way it's like a direct connection from PC to Pro iDSD. My $10 Ethernet cable sounds better than the $500 Wireworld Platinum Eclipse USB cable.
