Your Pro iDSD serial number should start with: 30020 or 30120. 2.5mm = 30020xxxxx, 4.4mm = 31200xxxxx. You can try a made up number - I just put in 3002000152 and that worked.

Dunno, call it placebo but with the newer firmware, there seems to be slightly better separation or layering?

I don´t think that there is any change in sound quality, but i could be wrong. Filter adjustments where mentioned in the past, but yeah no guarantee.

I haven´t flashed it yet. Still waiting for some inputs here or a detailed changelog from ifi.
I think they´ve done only small adjustments cause of signature release. Why? Both got the same firmware version. Or there are even two versions of 2.15, but i don´t think so.

Nowhere, when ifi doesn't release changelog notes. Or even someone find something new while using the device with 2.15.

Has anyone paired it with this and if so how did it sound? Currently I’m debating whether I should go with this, the Sennheiser HDV 820 or the Questyle CMA 12. Thanks!

Any particular reason? My HEKs need a lot of power to sound good and it looks like they only output about 1.2W balanced.

As a AIO as long as 4200mw from a 4.4 balanced @16 Ohm will be enough power for you, Imho you won’t find anything at this level that has this much versatility and adjustability especially if you add the pro iCAN.

What’s the general consensus on the tonality? I personally want good sub bass and a denser tonality as opposed to neutral/bright. Does the IDSD sound like that?
