@iFi audio Does the pre-amp XLR & RCA o/p work simultaneously, I mean can I use them both in parallel?

In 99% I'm positive that they work at the same time since there's no output selector on iDSD Pro, but let me check this.

In short, it should work, however the signal for each output won't be the same.

I see that the iFi Aurora is listed as a launch partner for Tidal Connect, is there any chance that this could come to the Pro iDSD?

I have the OG 2.5 mm iDSD and my HD800S have 4.4 balanced. I've been using single ended at the moment. Is the consensus that the balanced out is a worthwhile improvement? I'll need to get an adapter or just a custom balanced cable.

Pro iDSD is fully balanced front to back and its headphone amp is actually its line driver, so also fully balanced circuit. In that sense it's worthwhile to try it for sure, but let others chime in and discuss sound performance

Tried balanced. Yeah, I'd say a definite improvement.

For playing music files via usb A (i.e.256G USB memory stick) or via micro SD card, which application works best with Pro idsd and is the most stable at this moment? Can anyone recommend me some apps?
