Just wanted to share me experience with the X power. I have the dc purifer 2 and have been using it with my router. But while it gave a blacker background it boosted the mids quite a bit destroying the balance of the presentation of the music making it sound artificial. So not recommendable! I was then offered a cheap second hand x power 12V to go with my router instead and decided to try it out. A huge upgrade which gave me more the a recently purchased interconnect cable costing 5x times as much. Very impressed! Blacker background. Smoother and more ease full presentation and most importantly it removed a blooming bass with had annoyed me for months- thinking it was due to a acoustic problem in the room. My next aim is to try an x power with my chord 8switch and Hugo 2/2go combo.

after some comments on audiosciencereview,
Well, I can say that when using it with my amplifiers, I am very pleased with results. Specifically, I use it now with Chord Toucan and Stax Airbow SRM-253 (with polarity-inverting adapter). It seems there is a definite improvement as compared to a) stock adapters, b) non-regulated linear power supply (I have Nidec one) and c) Yamaha PW100 power supply.

Thanks, I'm glad you're happy!
I would go for the X. I haven’t tried the elite. But can’t not recommend the regular one or the dc. The regular one reduces noise of the connected unit but infused noise back into our system unless they are separated. The dc bloats midrange and bass for my system.Guys, in a case I will have some spare cash, would you recommend Power X or Power Elite with my amplifiers? Or rather keep a regular iPower, but add iPurifier DC?
(DAC usage is irrelevant, neither of my current DACs use DC power.)

It only would be functional with things plugged in to the power strip with the iPower XI power x improved the sound and picture when i replaced my generic power suplys for router and switch. One of the better tweak improvements for me regarding sound quality.
But i been wondering. I know ipower x dont create noise of it own/self compared to cheap psu.
But does it also cancel out the dirty power that comes before it from my wall outlet and generic power strip? After all its that power/electricity that enter and runs the ipower x right.
You mean less dirty power leakeage? It only would be functional with things plugged in to the power strip with the iPower X
