Our iPower X was designed to work on what it gets from a power strip/wall outlet, but we have two devices that actively measure noise and counter it by injecting its opposite: PowerStation and AC iPurifier.

iPower X all by itself is extremely quiet, but dirty power can be fought on many fronts and measures to do that stack.
In that sense iPower X connected to a regular power strip will work better than a generic PSU. Replacing that power strip with something better on top of already having iPower X in there can increase sound quality further.
Considering Power Elite for my pro ican and idsd , is is beneficial to have a single one then daisy chain with a dc to dc or get a second can’t imagine it would be much different and also is there a marked difference jumping up from the power plus that comes with them
The best option possible would be to have both separately powered by quality power supplies. But if that isn't possible, one PSU to power both Pro range products will work fine.

Stole the iPower Elites from my home office system and used them to power my server and endpoint In my main headphone system. Definite huge step up in sound quality, with a blacker background and crisper transients.
You know how we enjoy making controversial posts and reviews sometimes?
Today's that kind of day, with the full in-depth written review about iPowerX from iFi audio being live! This is a power converter, so it shouldn't have too much to do with sound. I explore the product with a really neutral approach this time around, but I do hope that my review and me sharing my experiences about it will help you

Hello IFI Audio , i just buy 5v ipowerx... and i want to ask what the use of white adapter that called reverse polarity,
how do i know when i can use it?
It is for changing the polarity of the coaxial connector from center positive to negative. Only use it if you are pairing with a device which requires a center negative connection. The device you want to power may have a little diagram which has a dot surrounded by a 'C' shape, with '-' and '+' indicated. Use the inverter if the center (the dot) is marked negative ('-').

i using headphone amp powered by 5v dc, when i plugged into ipowerx the sound become a little aggresive and harsh/metalic, compared when its plugged off using internal battery warmer, smoother and more natural.
Is the power from ipowerx still not clean enough and still affecting the output sound of headphone amp?
