Our best advice is to put it in your system and try it out! Report back when you grab it!

I just ordered an X from the Amazon Ifi store, should arrive Monday....
By the way, you are after me on the E.E. tour!!!
I knew you were familiar when I saw your name!!
Be checking back soon!!
Power X arrived an hour ago and upon initial listen, the volume gain went from -29 to -9 in decibels @ -29. The volume increase was immense!! I was starving my amp for current. The X made a great change here, happily. Our best advice is to put it in your system and try it out! Report back when you grab it!

I'm thinking of something to tweak the sub bass, treble and mid extension?

^^ This!I'm now the owner of two iPower Elites that are powering my Pro stack. Part of me is thinking, "Why did I just bankroll my iFi stack with $600 of power supplies instead of spending that on new gear (i.e., a better headphone amp)?" Having some buyers remorse when thinking about it.
Why didn't i just get the better speaker/headphone that i saved-money-on-by-not-getting-the-higher-end-version then to spend more than the speaker on dumb

Update after 24 days:
I decided to remove the iPower Elite powering the iDSD Pro from my system and swap back in the Keces P8 linear power supply.
I prefer to use the iDSD Pro in DSD1024 mode with the bit-perfect filter, so poor recordings (such as classic 80s power ballads) can sound harsh in my system. As @iFi audio said before, the iDSD Pro is a digital source that is (very) sensitive to power input, so swapping out power supplies/power cables definitely impacts its sound.
The gains in clarity and accuracy that come with the iPower that I mentioned before still hold true, but I want a little more warmth in the iDSD's sound that I get by going back to the Keces (also, the Keces is a dual-output power supply that can feed the iDSD and my Euphony music server, so that setup requires one less power cable overall).
Please note that I am still using the iPower Elite with the iCan Pro, as that component already has a warmth to its sound that the clarity of the iPower complements well.

@iFi audio, I see that you’re now selling power cables. i anticipate you’ll start some threads about those. As I observed with the iPower Elite, its noise reduction is very effective but it’s voiced to be neutral and not “warm” sounding in terms of adding warmth or smoothness to the sound. Are your power cables voiced the same way?
Are they related to your AMR line of cables?
Are those even around still?
