I continue to be impressed with the UE700s, which in many aspects blow my current headphones out of the water. The UE's strength lies in its transients, clarity, and the ease in how they handle demanding passages with noticeably less smearing than my dynamics. 
 
Is it worth it to upgrade to a universal fit IEM in the $300-350 range?
