It looks very similar to the iDSD BL, as far as I can tell there are not significant changes other than the 4.4mm balanced output.

Price is $650. Preorders are up at a46. I just talked to them there and they said they've put in the order with ifi, but aren't sure about release date yet.

A46 also looks to have taken the Micro Black Label off their site, which leads me to believe that ifi has probably stopped producing the black label in favor of the signature as there really is no need for both.

Also, both the headphone ports on the signature use s-balanced, which I think means that it's basically just like putting a 4.4 adapter into the 1/4inch headphone port, vs. having a fully balanced wiring and output like on the hip-dac - which is why there's no discrepancy between balanced and SE output power on the signature. I'm kind of curious how much more juice they could squeeze out of it if it was fully balanced.

I saw the Signature just before I ordered my BL.
Quickly snatched up a BL since I needed both optical and analog input, the Signature doesn't have the latter but provides a balanced output instead.
But from what I can see from the specs the max output is the same so if that is the max oputput for balanced it could mean half the power for SE which would be anther reason for me to prefer the BL.
Just guessing here ...

Anyway, I'm glad I grabbed a BL before they are gone and it think it's an awesome portable amp or dac/amp however you want to use it.
