I received the EQ a few days ago. It is not passive. It is stated to have a max of 280 mW output power and has 0 dB gain. I didn't check long but I think it affects the sound - I felt that the depth is a bit lost, but I will check it especially with HA200 and then A18t.

It would have to be buffered I think. Can you remind me what this EQ device is? I lost it in the thread.

Hi,

Here: https://ibasso.cn/supports/firmware

You should give permission to your computer to download de files! Windows Defender detected as a virus! I gave permission to not consider it as a threat, downloaded and scanned it after download. There's no virus at all (of course).
Once the zip file is downloaded , how do you apply the update to dc04? Thx

Hi,

It is very simple. Just open the pdf and u will find the instructions (even with images). But basically u need to connect DC04 to your computer (you have the USB adaptor that came with DC04), wait until DC04 it is recognized by your computer and then run the .exe file.
Let me know if it helped.

Cheers.

Do any of you experience tracks getting messed up such that the playback is jittery and with stutters when using Tidal on the DX300? Happens quite a bit for me. Even after updates and removals and reloads.
This happens to me from time to time - a reset fixes it.

It doesn't happen so often that I consider it a serious problem.

Had a long listening session with Dx300 after almost 400hrs burn in / nos filter and Moondrop S8. May have been be one of the best listening session I’ve ever had. The smooth euphonic character of the dx300 matches the neutral harmanish signature of the S8 like they were made for each other.

This dap keeps amazing me.

Hi all,

First thing I would like to do is thank everyone on here for all the helpful information posted here :L3000:

I do have a question for you all, has anyone been able to get the lock screen to work in Mango OS mode? The instructions say long press of the play / pause button locks the screen in mango OS mode. I have the latest firmware and would like this function to work as the volume button is easily hit and then the screen is active in Mango OS, unlike Android mode where the screen is still locked.

Thank you. :beerchug:

What Bluetooth connections does this thing accept? I can't find it anywhere.

Do you mean which BT codecs it supports? DX300 has BT5.0 chipset and supports up to and including LDAC, confirmed under Develop Options in settings. Surprisingly, when you connect DX300 to your smartphone as Wireless DAC, it only supports AAC codec. But when paired with wireless headphones or wireless dongles, it will support LDAC.

Hello,

I am new here and I just received my DX300 today and having a very annoying issue I hope others have encountered and fixed. Whenever I use the gold volume wheel and scroll down the screen turns off and comes back to the lock screen. If you scroll up to increase the volume no issues. Do you think its a faulty scroll wheel? Its driving me crazy

Thank you, I have reached out to HeadAmp where I purchased it from. Very disappointed was looking forward to it.
Try a factory reset in the advanced menu.
