Let's hope not.
It would be a shame for such a product.

+1I really, really like the DX300. Just wish Roon worked properly with it, which isn't iBasso's fault whatsoever.
Roon work fine, just like any android phone, device or tablet, would be nice if it could bypass the android stack+1
I was sad to see this when I first tried. Disappointing.
It's the android stack and subsequent resampling that I was referring to. Would be great to see Roon output according to the source bitrate without resampling.Roon work fine, just like any android phone, device or tablet, would be nice if it could bypass the android stack
I'm feeling your pain tooIt's the android stack and subsequent resampling that I was referring to. Would be great to see Roon output according to the source bitrate without resampling.

Try Neutron. Its brilliant. Also UAPP needs to start supporting DSD playback on DX300 asap. Mango App drives me nuts sometimes.
Neutron for local playback. But streaming Qobuz sounds best through UAPP.I do prefer neutron to UAPP on my side.
I would tend to advise the opposite. Source first. Headphones can never add back what a poor source omits. So focus on getting the DAP that best suits your ears and your bank account. Then move onto better and better headphones. My Shanling AE3s ($169) sound phenomenal on my dx300.Ok then.
In terms of price/performance is suggest upgrading your headphones before going for the dx300...
IMHO iBasso / mango player really need to improve their playlist random algorithm. Always keep playing the same set of songs
Do you think that your shanling AE3s out of dx300 sounds better than say a shanling ME700 plus.. some usd 650 player?I would tend to advise the opposite. Source first.
