@fokta reacted to my DX220 Max meandering impressions and burn in journey documentary ... so i went back to see if there were any parallels to the DX300 burn in and it seems to be following the same process.

The amp is similar - as for the rest we will just have to wait for someone to crack theirs open...

Screenshots of early burn in process (it continues on in the article - ... hardly a pure review).

posted as it may help others on their journey as a few have mentioned around the 50 hour or 30-70 hours mark the DX300 goes through a process which might not be pleasing for some - but it comes out better on the other side.

*i think i tracked the Max burn in to 300+ hours in the article...

So give it some time, leave it over night or two...

Yep, that's a big sucker. A new category of players needs to be coined: "Backpack DAPs" hahahaha

Yes, we are already there. :p I think DX300 has pretty acceptable size and form in this market.

This is not my first product by Ibasso, but with dx300 I became a true fan of the company. An amazing dap! Also, thanks a lot for the quick YouTube fix and, especially, much awaited double tap feature! That's the best thing you could do to improve the almost ideal device even more!

P.S. I also have case quality issues but that's really my only complaint. So far ordered the TPU one.)

What case quality issue? My blue leather case doesn't seem to align well with the DAP on one side?

Compare to earlier posts in this thread and my photo how to cope with it using glasses cleaning tissue - case seems 3rd party and is too large so DX300 is slipping out...

Some early batch of cases are not fitting.

Either that is a really huge DAP or a really small person.

You guys are great 😂
If DAP's too large, you are too small!

Chaps, just quick question: I’m trying the balanced LO to my desktop headphone amp. What’s your experience in terms in how long the battery lasts for? I am using it for streaming Tidal, KK Box and QQ Music. Thanks in advance. Just wanted to get a sense of the average battery life for this. :)

I should take a closer look at the coaxial out and see if I get a longer cable. Cos of where I normally chill out, I’d need a 3M cable.

Speaking of case again
Has anyone found a substitute case which is both non-slipping plus preventing the side buttons from being pressed?

@Paul - iBasso
Dear Paul
Many DX300 owners got a 3rd party leather case in the original package which is so much larger that the device will slip out immediately.
It is mentioned many times in this thread
Can you please give us a hint how to get the original Ibasso case?
Thx!
+1 this
