Would the amp12 module EX or NP mods be able to increase things like the Crosstalk rating spec?

All I have to say is WOW..... I just recieved my DX300 back again after several months and I have to say, even with AMP11mk2 I've never been so wow'ed by a portable music player in my life, listening on my ZMF VO, the dynamics just pop right at my face, I cannot wait for the AMP12W to get into my hands. A modded AMP12 seems like a no brainer for sure.

only took me two months with dx300 to pull trigger on amp12. One of the things in description is 4.4mm balanced line out. doesn't amp 11 mk2 already have that?
On the AMP12 it's a real dedicated line out (on the left). You don't have option in software to switch PO to LO.

Is there any option to use AMP12 LO to feed non-balanced amp (e.g. stationary or car audio ones)? Or it is safer to do double-amping with AMP11?

I do the same with an iBasso cable included as stock with DX300 Max. You can probably email Paul and get one send to you (for ca. $15). You'd then need a female 3.5 to 3.5 SE cable for RCA connection. Bal to SE is not possible (without transformation), only the other way round.

I heard that you can attach BAL load to SE source but not visa versa
You are correct. However the Amp12 has the hardware built in for SE out from 4.4mm. It is only that it needs the special Ibasso dongle (this one comes with both Maxes), or I think you can buy from Ibasso. It is very short, and you will need an adapter to extend it longer
