Wow, this is intriguing news. Looking forward to a new generation of chips from Cirrus Logic!
It has me curious but can't find it where it says that the CS43198 has been discontinued. Though none seem to be available.

I think that soon there may be a new upgraded model like "dx320 or dx340" with a new Sabre dual or quad DAC and better design :) so I will choose to wait a little :)
In this case, I will also wait for the DX320, especially since I like my DX160 so much that I do not plan to buy the DX240 here and now. It is logical to wait for the development of the 300's line.

What does not seem normal to me that a flagship of a renowned brand such as Ibasso is not going to get more than a single amplification module when previous models have had 4 and 5 ...

If they do not continue to support the device, I will be so disappointed that my next flagship will not be Ibasso again ...

Yes, for me the best by far of all the ones I have tried from ibasso together with the amp8 but we need an improved amp9 for our dx300 🤣

I honestly don’t think I have found any other DAP that offers true Line Out like DX300 and Amp12 with the Dynamic Range of 128Db!!!!

Jeezes Luis!!

The only one of it kind !!! And still affordable !! So crazy

The Amp12 is also able to reach upto 126Db dynamic range away from Amp11. Can you imagine the Amp13 that is able to reach the whole 128dB ? Woooottt

So has anyone heard from Paul on this thread lately? I've been checking but he seems to have been absent for a while. I'm curious for any hints at possible upcoming firmware, amp cards, end-of-life declarations, etc... @Paul - iBasso are you out there..?
Cheers! :beerchug:

Also Leute, ich habe heute neues Spielzeug bekommen.

crap every time the error with the translator. My English is not very well. Sorry !!!!

So guys i got new toys today. After several guys raved about the combination DX312 and iBasso IT 07 so enthusiastically, especially expat in Japan and he even left his JH IEMs in the closet, I thought I would try them out. The first impression is generally quite good. But it had very extreme upper mids for my ears, which I don't really like. The subbass and midbass made a good impression. I liked the heights very much. The sound stage is also very wide. I want to hope that the upper mids will still smooth out after the burn-in. As I said, that was the first impression straight out of the box. I already thought that it was due to the pure silver cable. Well, I'll just wait and see what's in 50 hours. But after 5 minutes I thought that a copper cable might fit better. Otherwise great IEM with nice packaging.
