When you connect it LO to the desktop amplifier, does the dx300's volume mute or do you have to set it to 100 and control it from the external amplifier?

Hail Olórin (LOTR geeks), When u set LO, usually went to the last setting, so I believe from beginning it was set to 100,

if your external amp is too powerfull, nor the cans is to sensitive, so reducing the volume at DX300 can be an option, for me, I'll go to volume 77 with low gain...

Below is DX300(amp11mk2, LO config) - BX2plus - VC...
DF4 if you like fast transient sounding.
DF5 if you just like all loosen & enjoy the dynamic sound...

If you really need every extra juice, DX300 to A30Pro via 4.4 to XLR cable. I prefer used the AMP gain level then DX300.
I find increasing DX300 gain to high in LO config, the sounds is to forward, and loss the sense of depth.. IMO...

Sure, but that's in amp 11 but I mean in AMP 12 when you connect it to the LO output there is no configuration menu for the audio since it is a dedicated output and I thought that when it detected that an external device has been connected through that output the volume of the DX300 was muted to control it from the external amplifier ...

It's the same with AMP 12. Set the volume to 70-80 and just give it a try. I personally set the volume to 75 mid gain. But I only have the Oriolus BA 300 S. I can't regulate the volume on it. But you can't go wrong with the settings.

But I connect it and the volume wheel of the DX300 is not canceled, it continues to work I thought that when connecting some external by LO the volume wheel stopped working and the sound was controlled only by the desktop ...

Let me repeat it again, the Amp12 is true LO, but the volume is from the DAC chips being digitally controlled. That is why it still working. Ibasso could cheat you out to lock the firmware volume to max when LO plug is detected, but not everyone would appreciate it being locked like that.

All other DAP even with Pseudo LO will cheat you that way to give you the feeling of LO being locked and true LO

Ahh ok, that's why it seemed strange to me that they all work like that except this one and I thought I was doing something wrong ... they told me that the volume control should be canceled when using the LO output.

That so you should realize the Amp12 LO and PO are automatically detected by hardware

Elekit TU-8900 running on 2A3 NoS from RCA black bottles. It is output transformers with Lundahl and also input transformers with Lundahl. This is a Kit Amp that needs DIY which I made with all the pure 6N solid silver internal wires . This is the amp I used as a references in tuning the Amp12EX, which took me such a long time but I finally got it nailed . How can I let go of the tubey traits goodness from dx312 in a compact form like this ? The EX is extreme in everything and also is the top of my achievements in Ibasso modifications, standing true for Amp8EX and now Amp12EX

However, The most effective ways to improve your Dx312 system is still much better to go with Amp12W and not EX
