Hi, anybody knows if they managed to fix the screen interference (static noise) issue in the 2019 version when using sensitive IEMs via the 3.5mm output?

Also is the Wifi connection any better in this new one compared to before?

Wifi issue is on.
My 2020 model disconects and reconects after 30-40 sec..

I used to have the same issue with the 2020 version, but fortunately have fixed it since.

Somebody noticed where does ibasso 160 in ibasso original page disapeared ? In ibasso .com there is no such model in daps section. What happened there. Very strange.

Noticed the same, but just ordered it anyway.

Paul and crowd,
I am having serious trouble getting my DX160's bluetooth to work properly. Connection strength aside, I can not get it to use LDAC coming from my phone. I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that my phone recognized the dx160 as a tablet and not a media player. I have gone through developer options and all the troubleshooting I could find online. Does anybody have some tips/tricks to get it to work? I have a Samsung S7. In addition, I also have an ES100 that connects with LDAC just fine, so I know the phone is capable of supporting it.
Is there a way to have the DX160 not present itself as a tablet? Is there something else I could try? I would like to be able to have the dx160 go LO to my home stereo for times when I am working from home, or cooking in the kitchen, etc, and just have my phone on me to control the playback...This was supposed to be a big selling point over other players...

I have the same problem.. My home WiFi is 30Mbps max.. When I compare (using Speedtest app) against my smartphone's connection to WiFi ie ~20Mbps, obviously not as strong only 5-10Mbps, hence DX160 cannot pick it up.. Need to get close to signal source ie router or get a stronger router/signal eg 100Mbps..

Well, maybe it's your DX160 that's having a real WiFi problem.. Need to return it or get it fixed.. As for me, I can still manage as I don't use Spotify etc that often.. After all, you can't use EQ etc when streaming..

I don' t think velocity is an issue. When i had dx200 my router was 100 mbps(now i have 1 giga). I was buying today dx160 but seems to me that wifi is a big problem of ibasso daps

I had to upgrade my router. For me, that was the issue. But it seems iBasso has a notorious reputation for Wi-Fi coverage interference. So it could very well be your DAP and not your current router.
Honestly, at least lately, I haven't even had the Wi-Fi on because I've just been listening to music in my library instead of streaming. Sometimes I like to use an EQ, but I can't do that while streaming though.

I'm not even sure if it was ever on iBasso's website in the first place. I think we all just assumed it would eventually be placed on there. Not sure what the hold up is...

AFAIK the official website is Ibasso.com, and the DX160 was on there a month ago for sure

Really? Hmm...not sure how I missed that one. I wonder why they took the DX160 off then?

Yes, you are right.. The other models eg DX220, DX200 & DX150 seem to be there but not DX160.. Hmmm..
