maybe @Lurker0 releases a custom rom with play services support just like DX150/200
Waiting for a new device and they hope that CUSTOM ROM is very cool for the REPUTATION of the manufacturer.

they hope
There are around of 2000 users of my firmware for DX200. Great for me :D but would you believe that iBasso has sold only 2K DX200's for 2.5 years? The truth is that only small share of customers needs Play Store. Well, some of them are quite active on-line, but they don't make the market. It's a matter of the fact, so please just take it as it is

Well they don't advertise their DAPs having play services. and most DAPs do not support it either (Fiio M11, AK players, etc).

Shanling have launched their flagship music player: M6, powered with Snapdragon 430 Octa-core CPU along with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM, extra memory max to 2T, Dual AK4495SEQ, with both DACs working even in Single-Ended mode.

Shanling first need to learn haw to make proper Volume control / check all that plenty of issues with M5S , M0 , M2X, reported at many forums /
Shanling second need to learn how to provide excellent after sale repair service, warranty support . Plenty of examples if you check .
Shanling - if you have a close look at M5S / M6 treat + responses from Shanling , you will see . M6 comes incomplete with promises for update fixes + possible same volume control issues . Same story line as M5S. Or in simple language , same crap but with different package.
Shanling comes up with M6 , cuz Ibasso , Fiio , hiby ,wipe the floor with Shanling & their incomplete products .

I can’t speak about the M5 or any other products, but I have had the M0 since last August and have not faced any issues at all. There have been several firmware updates and they post regularly in the M0 thread, so in fairness to Shanling they have made an effort. I’m not saying people have not had any issues, just pointing out they have made an effort with the M0 and for my usuage, it has perfomred flawlessly.

I've seen it has for the DX220 too. There's a instalation tutorial? Probably it needs Magisk and rooting.

No need for root/magisk. You just need to flash an add-on via flash tool.
