I asked ibasso sometime ago and the dx120 does not have the ability to output usb to mojo.

i connect them through line cable to my car & my yamaha desktop preamp... idk about any mojo, but if the device have a line in port then should be right. in my country line cable start from under $1 but the quality is came with the price, but heck it makes the job done.

Any recommendations for a decent quality lineout cable? Fiio and iBasso's own cables are impossible to find these days!

i had this problem and found the only one that worked (for me) was a standard 3.5mm interconnect for a headphone amp (the one i have is from russ andrews - kimber cable - very short) and i did some research which basically stated that there would be no differnece in sound from a coax cable (given the short length)

This is not quite true. The DX120 can send a digital signal via USB, but not to all devices. For example, DAC-amplifier FX-AUDIO- D802C accepts any reproducible format, but DAC-amplifier SMSL A6 accepts only DSD. (Firmware 2.9.121-L0)

Assuming so since the 120 has a dedicated line-out, I just want to confirm that the volume will be fully controlled by the connected amp.

What amps are you guys using? I'd like to color the sound to make it less dry, unless fidelizer is that much of a night and day difference. Thinking Ray Samuels or Leckerton..

Thanks, but I'm interested in portable amps to color the sound. Indeed it is good power-wise for IEMs.

Word! Although from what I've read about the Mojo I think it might be kind of dark together since the 120 emphasizes lower treble over upper.
