IBasso DC-Elite . . . The no compromise DAC/AMP with a true Stepped Attenuator

Of course
I mean if the 4 pin plug is on the elite side. Using the set as in the picture (standard 3.5mm cable + adapter), I connected the following chain: smartphone, dc elite, xd05 pro. Works stably. But not with PC.

Why would anyone pay $450 for a DC Elite and use it with Bluetooth and or its digital output. Makes no sense to me. Everyone is free to use their gear however they want but its an expensive device to cripple it with Bluetooth or use it for just digital output.

The DAC chip in this thing is over $100 alone in single quantities, Bluetooth feeds it substandard lossy data and COAX output bypasses it altogether.

or

As a happy owner of the DC-Elite, just wanted to ask folks if using CB19 helps with improving sound quality or is it more for power savings on the mobile?

I tried to search, but could not get an answer.

Thanks in advance.
No sound changes for me but amazing power savings on battery life.

With a single cell 3000mAh power bank I can easily play music for 12 hours and use around 15% battery on my Xduoo x10t.

Do we want something like this for our dc elites?:

Its a no from me, see my earlier post. If I was using Bluetooth at that point I just grab a TWS IEM they have improved so much in the last few years with LDAC and Aptx Adaptive etc.

Perhaps when/if Aptx Lossless becomes a thing that may change but no way am I crippling a $450 DAC with Bluetooth.

I could have been more precise, it's a dedicated power bank, for now it's a concept proposal, but with an announcement of production, but your development of this project with BT is worth attention :relaxed:
