Hi can someone confirm if I can plug an iPhone 11 directly into the USB input on a Hugo TT2?
Seems Tidal hifi / master quality digital out from phone would better than airplay into another of the inputs which is my other option

Cool thanks - and what about a custom lightning to USB “square socket” cable
It’s only whether it will be recognised if not Apple certified - or some other clever thing the Apple adapter does?

while those exist, the benefit of the camera adapter is the ability to charge the device while also using it as a source.

I agree that Dave is better partner for DCA Stealth (set aside from the technical aspect). For me TT2 make Stealth become too "soft", too polite/relax in presentation.

I'm LOVING the combo. Is it a big jump. Yes it is. I couldn't be more happy. I believe I'd read at one point Mr. Watts was using it for his headphone rig. Good enough for me. Plus I knew it wouldn't disappoint being what it is.

Hi guys/girls
I currently own two TT2s- one in my headphone set up (dac & HP amp only, i don't think i need the pre...or do i?) and the second in the seperate speaker/main system (dac mode only. Not needing the pre or the HP out).
Needless to say they are great and i'm very happy with what they offer in terms of sound.

I guess you know where i'm going with this...

So yes, I'm interested in hearing your opinions if one could get a better bang for the buck with other gear based on my usage per each set up: i.e. better sound at similar cost or similar SQ at less cost?

Orent, good question! I can't think of a combination of DAC/amp with the same sound signature.

After owning/enjoying the TT2 for a year, I found myself wanting my good R2R DAC back ...

Doesn't nessaserly need to be the same sound signature, but on par quality wise.

Sorry for stating the obvious, but unless you bought your TT2s used, you will likely take a 25-30% hit on selling them. So the question is not "what else performs the same at this price point?", but rather "what performs as well as a TT2 at 70% the price". IMHO - but maybe I am too much a believer in buying new to have the warranty for peace of mind.
