Would these have good synergy with the HD 800? Sounds to me like the low end emphasis and ample power of 288 mW for its 300 ohm impedance would be a great combo.

Hi All,

Does anyone in here compare TT2 to other DAC, especially R2R dac tech?
Vs Denafripps Terminator DAC?
4.5k usd vs 6k usd?

Thanks.
Maybe no one has compared those two dacs, but @Rob Watts has posted about the limitations of R2R tchnology.

Which ones were off topic so I know?

Ones that had nothing to do with TT2.

If it’s not TT2 related it’s OT.

I’m loving my TT2. < TT2 related post.

This post was brought to you by the letter T and the number 2.

Cue sesame street music.

A match made in heaven. The clarity of the HTT2 works really well with the Abyss Diana Phi.

Currently listening to this album. The bass is soul shaking.

OMG

You bought a Silver TT2.

Rob, run.

Just joking, I hope your TT2 brings you many hours of joy as my Black one does.

You know, the Silver is growing on me. For all that I ultimately like black Hi-Fi gear, the silver matches my computer at least. It has been bringing me many hours of joy! The bit of a discount I got due to the mix up helps of course

Don't you also have the susvaras?

Yup! I find the Diana Phi + Susvara combo works really well. Two very different sound signatures, but both equally impressive.

I also ordered silver. I was on the fence regarding silver or black. I went with silver because it matches my iMac it will be sitting beside, and I’m hoping silver gets to the US (and my house) faster than black.

Oh, were you the one who ordered a black one but got silver instead ? Sorry dude, I forgot about that.

My joke was more of a “OMG a Silver TT2”, don’t use speakers and for rob to jump into his bunker.

Regardless of the colour, I really hope you are enjoying your tt2, as it sounds amazing and I would of also kept the silver one.

If you ever want to change the colour, open it up and carefully remove the main board and put it in a box, and then get the case powder coated for an excellent finish.

A glossy piano black colour would look magic on TT2 and HMS. Like the original fat playstation 3’s.
