What's the real true story behind this mug? Surely it wasn't in the box. If you don't want to talk we can employ other means to make you talk.

Everyone else notice their remote batteries have chord all over them ?

As for the mug, it was a surprise, a really good one

Treats (and tricks) for me tonight

Just a few hours of listening and already thinking about redescovering my music library again (same as when I got the DAVE, by the way).

Depth, flow … smoother than DAVE alone - no added harshness, hardness, glare etc.: the opposite is true for my ears.

A long week-end of musical delights awaits me … I'll post more detailed impressions afterwards.

Only disappointment, I did not find the mug in my box, I'm jealous, @Amberlamps !

Was the mug really in the box? Are the batteries duracell but you are reading it upside down?

The batteries are branded Chord. First time I have seen anyone other than samsung and sony to brand their remotes batteries.

My new amphenol rf cables already make a nice improvement with my hms. Warm and detailed but effortless.

That's the opposite opinion of someone else who tried that cable recently.

There's more than one Amphenol cable available to buy (excluding the various lengths), so it gets tricky when people only refer to "Amphenol".

@Rob Watts could you help me out with this one... if I wanted to tinker and see how to make things smoother... do you know the names of the ferrites I could search for?

What frequencies they’d be blocking etc?

If these things only cost a few pound then it makes sense to evaluate them - and report back our subjective opinions.

These are mine Jawed. Punch well above their weight as recommended by blu2 users. They are a nice improvement over stock. Not massive but subtle but the subtleness is noticeable. Quite thin cables but very well made especially the silver colour connectors.. Warmer with a more cohesive presentation. The music feels spot on whereas the stock were more 2 dimensional. 70 quid well spent even though i ordered them individually and paid shipping twice as i thought the price stated was for 2.

(095-850-187M100 Amphenol RF) 75ohm 1m. Cable Belden 4855R.
