Hi HeadFi,
I currently own the Sennheiser IE8 In-ear's and am wondering how their sound compare to the ultrasones 900 and pro 750.
The soundstage will obviusly be bigger, but how does the bass compare?
I listen to dance, trance, techno and progressive. Which would be better?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

In the Ultrasone family , I have the HFI-780's and the bass on these is much more detailed than the IE8. IE8 at least to my ears was a bit on the boomy side depending on the song. The 780's can pull off a big bass sound but also at the same time be very punchy and tight. I'm hopefully picking up the pro 900's soon so I can't wait to compare, If you like the bass of the IE8 I would say give the Ultrasone's a shot, I think you will like them.

I've got the IE8s and the 900s.
900 have bigger fatter bass and more treble details ('sparkly'), IE8s have better more natural mids.
I definitely prefer the 900s for electronic and the IE8s for rock/instrumental. However they both do everything well, just not excellent.

Persoanlly I don't like IEMs as much for comfort reasons, so the IE8s see less head time, but not because there is a problem with their sound.
