Just got them and wow...

Just wow.

Compared to the Beats Studio I've been using, all I can say is that I'm hearing brand new things. The highs are so sharp it almost hurts. Not to mention the bass of these headphones are just crazy. Not to mention my great-aunt (passed grandmothers sister) and son (fathers cousin) are in town. Shes 90ish and she said "Oh let me listen!" I gave them to her and played Maxwell's Silver Hammer by The Beatles. She was incredibly happy. Not to mention she was belting her heart out.

Pics soon :) and review.

If you don't mind mismatching handsewn pads, then yes. If you do, then no. Personally I don't really care and I'd buy them anyway.

Also depends on how valuable 100 bucks is to you, but at the end of the day if you're already modding D2000's and you know the potential there is for them, they're worth it.

No doubts they are better than the beats. Whats your source?

I disagree. I found the bass to be just enough with sharp highs too.
