Burn the NAA image to a card, insert and reboot. Or do you mean update the holo provided software? I’ve never used the holo software but I expect you’re tied to their image releases.

Sure. Just use the file at https://www.signalyst.eu/bins/hqplayerd/images ( see also https://www.signalyst.com/embedded-install.html )
You can choose using the HQPlayer OS (which has NAA, upnp etc features) or the fully optimized, pure NAA image.

That's great, ramroot is one of my consideration. Meanwhile, can HQ NAA being modified using ramroot to run?

no need to modify. the NAA image already boots from memory

I downloaded "HoloAudio Red-OS-20231221 (serial 2305 or higher)" firmware and working fine with Red serial less than 2305. I see option "Red Native Output", not sure what for?

Tidal still runs at 44.1KHz and 16 bit with new firmware.

The same here, Tidal plays MQA. Also no info in log about Tidal Connect. Maybe in the next update...

USB, then you use the May’s clock which is better.

USB, but if your cables and power are good, i2s is pretty close, but not identical.

I use USB, it was better than i2s when I did some comparison (Red -> Spring 3). Of course, different USB and HDMi cables were used and cable matters also.

are you using RedOS or other OS? for RedOS try the link and use the older 2G version, it can do the first unfold of MQA.
