Way too many fake Siltech cables these days and most likely those Crystal Cable wanna-be products are giving us a good laugh.

Being a Chinese myself, I really wanna get those Chinese sellers busted if they were not the real deal.

Back to the topic, the first batch of HM901 in Hong Kong was already sold out a few days ago

And to have the Roto-Rooter man make a house call is $852.87......use toilet paper sparingly.

About 901, so far I only know they will have

Standard amp,
balanced amp,
IEMs amp, which is supposed to be half efficient as balanced amp card
U235 card, power amp that has 6V outputs.
And minibox amp, which is still unknown about its function. Fang is saying it's a dedication of several years hard work from MR Three Stone.

Well I guess that's not true for all IEMs. I think IEM amp will only work well on sensitive and low impedance ones, because other amp will just overpower them and make them sound meaty and lack of detail. But for thing like SE5, I don't see a reason how balanced amp isn't better than IEM card.

But so far Tera and ak100 stage 2 pair beautifully with all my iems. If you have a balanced card, do you need balanced cables for your iems ?

Yes, you do I am afraid. 3.5 mm one :)

Haha it's not.. As you already see on the output of 901 picture. 3.5 mm is the only option to go balanced.
