Hum, how could be balanced (also symetric) the HM901 with a 3,5mm jack ? The grounds will not be splited up as with XLR 4 pins or just Kobiconn, used on RSA or ALO amps. Please someone could explain how they do ?

hmm.. so to fully utilize the balanced option on HM-901, our cable jack need to be TRRS (which most if not all aren't) and getting an adaptor sets us back USD25 which really doesn't sound enticing.
 
not to mention design wise we're still unsure if using a TRS jack to HM-901 would cause a short-circuit issue?

Thank you ! I think it's a good idea to use a jack with 4 pole, it's easy to find.

What type of modification? I guess there is a lot someone can do. Doesn't always make something better but anything can be modified.
