It takes so long to transfer Flac files to the 16GB on board memory of HM-602. But there is no problem using 16GB SD card. I am planning test it with 32GB SD card this weekend.

Interesting. What SD card do you use?

From Fang:

"We will start to ship after national holiday (Oct 1st to Oct 7th)in China. We will finish all shipping in middle Oct "

btw when loading music onto a card I find it faster to just load the music using a card reader. But yea, loading music onto my HM801's internal memory is slower, so maybe it is the same way with the HM602. I'll find out soon enough I guess.

Also, does anyone remember which program alphabetizes the folders? If you don't do this (at least on the HM801) the folders appear in the order they were added.

The newer version of the sample I have was faster in receiving about 16 GB of flac files. The whole thing took about 1.5 hours or about 2/3 of what it took on the original HM602 sample I had. As I also wrote the buttons work better and are easier to use, very happy w/ the revised HM602.

So i guess they will start shipping again Friday the 8th. So overall to the people who do have a HM-602 how does it compare to a Sflo2 or Cowon......is it the best PMP outside getting the 801.

I just wish the UPS and Fedix guy would quit stopping in front my house and delivering packages to my neighbor.

1.5 hours for 16gb?!  Geez.  I'll probably use 14.5-15gb for just files I know I will never delete like SQ checks and test files among other things.

i notice this also.

when transfering files to internal memory or SD card though 602, it is very slow like 2-3Mbps.  Using my laptop's card reader, i can transfer like 10-20Mbps...

Speed? Fine with me... My laptop's maximum USB writing speed is like half a megabyte/sec so I was planning to run it overnight anyway

Maybe I should've bought a cheap HP laptop(at least it would be better than this 8 year old half-dead piece of annoying calculator), not this player.

Add: The Internet went out again for a few minutes. Not a network problem, the adapter needed a restart.

I am using SanDisk SDHC Class 4, which works smoothly.

PS: SanDisk SDHC Class 2 also works fine.
