I suspected as much.  For all the controversy surrounding the DAC about it being relatively noisy, old, discontinued, etc.  It has quite the following w/ respect to its unique sound signature.  I was just too intrigued to pass up on the opportunity to hear something that doesn't measure as well by todays standards but might be a lost sonic treasure.  We shall see.

Just took the leap ... been waiting on the s:flo216gb and watching this. From what I am reading I should not be dissapointed.
I would like to know if the RE262's will be included .... this will make great package!

Time to get rid of another guitar .... anyone in the market for an S-1 Elite?

Any "new" word on when this player will ship? Seems to me 5 days ago I read it will be shipping in the next 24 to 48 hours. I love the size of the player. Pulled the trigger yesterday.

He's referring to the 801 w/ a new opamp.

That's talking about being able to pre-order. Not shipping. Did you even read the title and look at the date the thread was created?
