Anyone without receipt have any repair experience with hifi man customer service?
I was reading on FB about a guy from Singapore saying they refused to even service his can, because he didn't have a receipt. Wouldn't even touch it they said. Doesn't match my experience, in that they always seem willing to help out

It is and its specs (80 Ohms and 101dB sensitivity) tell us that it's easier to drive than Susvara, but from Solitaire P's feedback I gather that these cans aren't exactly a breeze for an amp?
actually the sol p is tougher to drive than the specs would indicate it should be....it is obviously far easier to drive than is the susvara but it is far more difficult to drive the the lcd-5 for example...I can listen to the lcd-5 straight out of my dave without a problem...the sol p which I originally liked quite a bit out of the dave I am finding can be a bit lacking for certain music...I would say the sol p is in the same class as the abyss TC in terms of efficiency...easier to drive than the TC but in the same ball park....interestingly I find the sol p to be what I expected the lcd-5 to have been...the sol p is darker and more laid back than the 5 ...it has really good bass IMHO and is incredibly detailed...its strength for me is its imaging which is fantastic...it is similar as an all around HP like the susvara ..a real good HP

Just to clarify, would you consider Sol P profiled evenly, great all around without anything specific emphasized? That's how I see Susvara, hence the question
Yeeeees, that's most of us here have been doing, some longer than others, but it's great that these days we have so many options to choose from. One pair of cans would quickly get boring, wouldn't it ?
