Very nice review. Certainly one of the most interesting Solid State amps.
I was surprised about the IEM section, not many even tried that.

Personally I won't need a new SS amp in the upcoming years, maybe decades, but the Bakoon certainly seems worthy to be recommended.

I listened to an early demo but I have zero clue what model it can be. LMAO

4 is $4.5k
and i see on powerholdings site, which is usually rrp
5 pro is $6.4
5 is $5.8

so there is price hike for the extra set of inputs, 4.4 output and remote (and motorised alp) on the 5 vs the 4 of $1300
and for the extra 4.4 connector on us 5 pro it is an extra $400 relative to the 4+

so no FREE upgrades from 4/4+ to 5/5 pro

Niimbus is the best headphone amplifier. With loudspeaker amps you only get more noise.
I never understood how people take loudspeaker amps for HE6 or Susvara or Abyss. You can barbecue them nothing more. But for full authority buy US4 and you are at the end.
