I hope my susvara has the 3.5mm connectors. My dealer said it arrived at the store at the beginning of August and he did not open the box to verify. I decided to buy the asgard 3 to drive the susvara until I do more research on totl amps. For only $200 and based on the specs I think it should be good enough for now.
I ordered mine today and it's arriving tomorrow. The dealer said that the date printed on the box is August 14th so I have my fingers crossed that it's the 3.5mm revision.

Might be your source...while I very much enjoyed the DAC-3 when I owned it, it hit hard and fast...but a tad too fast (and a tad thin). On my DAVE with the GS-X mini or HPA4, I am with Jose on this one and just love the bass presence and impact.
I have recently paired the susvara with the bakoon 13r which is the best pairing I have yet heard....the only thing that dig as deep was one of the super expensive wells amps I heard at canjam..otherwise thus far the 13r has been the best pairing I have heard
Trying out speaker taps for the first time, using ahb2 and gsx mini as the pre.
Do I need to flick any of the switches on the back of the AHB2? The gain switch (?) on the AHB2 is all the way to the bottom. Options at 8.2, 14.2 and 22 dBu.
That's another great picture from you! Which wa33 version did u get? I'm thinking of the JPS Labs edition that comes with the upgraded tubes (seems more "value" for money if ordered from Abyss, as Woo doesn't include the tube upgrade if ordered from them..). After u got the wa33, does the hpa4 still get any play time?
It's the standard, the JPS version does seem like a solid deal since it includes the tube upgrades. I do still use HPA4 to A/B for fun, but mainly listening to WA33 now.
yeah i guess you are correct , with covid19 time is weird , it felt it past long time ago , GoldenOne reported that he got his 3.5mm pair in Jul 13 and i read it somewhere else maybe prioer to that by 2 months, so best guess that they started the conversion in May
Ok so I've just spent the past few hours with the susvara. Using the wa22 and gsx mini as pre amps and ahb2 + speaker taps.
Am I missing something? Because I seem to prefer the sound from the headphone out directly, over the power amp speaker taps option.
Direct from the wa22/mini, sounds like I'm getting similar dynamics, but with an overall weightier, thicker and warmer sound which is quite nice, as opposed to a bit leaner but more distinct/cleaner sound from the AHB2.
Or is it just the sound from the AHB2? Maybe try other speaker amps? Or is this a lesson in futility and I should just get a wa33 and call it a day....?

Use your hpa4 as preamp with ahb2. It is the ideal pairing with ahb2. (Use Mid gain setting on ahb2)
Recently, I had tried @ajaipuriyar 's susvara with dcs Rossini + clock & headtrip reference & there was no lack in bass body, extension, resolution, speed. The note density/weight & texturing was at another level.
