Turn the volume all way down BEFORE connecting Susvara to that amp.

if your amp has 8 ohm output then you can try adding a step up transformer 8 ohm to 60 ohm. This galvanic isolation should be enough

Random question my apologies. In general is a headphone amps power rated per channel, or total? i.e Taurus Mkii 4500 mw into 120ohm.

Why would I want to change a headphone which gives me so much pleasure right now on all my systems including smartphones and daps (HEKSE) for a system that is double.the cost (SUSVARA), wont work well on most of my actual gear, and as such will degrade my listening experience and will demand I engage in an expensive and potentially neverending quest for the ultimate listening experience ?

Knowing that when I finally find the Graal another headphone double the cost will be launched that will make it obsolete ?

Why would I commit to that if it where not only for the sake of gear merchants who take great pleasure at manufacturing high end gear and deciding the cost by using an exponential curve of theirs ?

Well maybe because I am addicted to change, because I am an audiophile ?

And as you know we are condemned to spend our time in that neverending quest envying others who have the temporary ultimate gear, spending a lot of our precious lifetime between listening to music, reading forums and buying/selling gear.

But that is our pleasure isn't it ?
