Do you guys think the Oor+Hypsos is equal to the Bakoon/Enleum for the Susvara?

What's your opinion on Ferrum+Susvara? Thanks
I have an AHB2 enroute and will be able to give a proper comparison after but the current combo bests the WA22 with upgraded tubes and an A90 as amplification. The Hyposis lowers the noise floor DRAMATICALLY! Get the combo if my AHB2 comparison next week with the Susvara sounds good to you.

What's your source (I mean DAC/streamer/...)?
Am specifically interested in comparing engaging signature and impact / slam.
I ve read that the likes of Burson Timekeeper 3i and potentially Grand Tourer (and your incoming AHB) are performing here whereas imho the Ferrum stack is more audiophile neutral...

I think that our Pro iCAN handles them well, but I'll leave any judgements to others

They don't, but analog outs on the back have their own knobs.

That's correct, but it would be beneficial to go into Pro iCAN via XLRs
Thanks!

What do you mean analgoue outs have their own knobs?

And why is the XLR inputs beneficial, real world? I have a Qutest, no balanced out.

in terms of what would be considered a budget amp in this crazy hobby I think the ican pro does an excellent job with the susvara...I used to own it and enjoyed it....

Currently borrowing a Dave/MScaler but my daily driver is a Holo Audio Spring 2 KTE with the May usb module.

What do you think of the Dave/HMS so far?

Resolution, resolution, resolution. I love a more euphonic sound (tubes) in most instances or equipment that has that very clean but a tad bit warmer tone but the Dave combo is sick af. I prefer it on the Stealth and V2 while preferring the Susvara on my Spring 2. Different strokes for different setups mean I need more money and more time. As well as a really really good recliner that doesn’t take up a basketball court in size.

Yes, that sounds about right. The Dave is a detail monster and I love it. But, it’s also the reason I have an R2R DAC as my second DAC for when I want to switch up the sound.

Just FYI
Shanling is introducing a Poweramp module for their M30 (which I am currently using as a source)
https://www.head-fi.org/threads/int...p-hi-fi-streaming-player.952808/post-16610892

While specs don't sound overwhelming (but still impressive considering that thing is fed from batteries!) with 3.5W @ 32 Ohm, I am still curious as from my experience DAC-AMP synergy in integrated solutions like DAPs are often better than trying to stack up a zoo of mixed devices.
