The interior is fenestrated though. Not much because that's what the stock pads are basically. The Dekoni ones are probably more comfortable, but sound wise likely to be similar.

I didn't notice that, worth a try - could be the best of the bunch or...some might say...a hybrid. The interior is fenestrated though.
Exactly. That's why I'm interested.I didn't notice that, worth a try - could be the best of the bunch or...some might say...a hybrid.

Has anyone tried the lambskin? Not a huge fan of fenestrated since it loses bass impact and velour seems nice sound wise but I hate the feel of it.

Did anyone compared Bakkon AMP-13R and Niimbus US4+ with Susvara?
I think when we are looking at power than it looks like Bakoon can provided around 4W while around 7W.

I'm paying more attention to head-fi due to not getting out as much as I'd like these days, like everyone else I suppose....
Love reading this tooing and froing on the susvara and hi end amps etc. It's a microcosm of economics and supply and demand.
I'd be stalking the abyss thread too except for the cyberman looks (proves I'm not a true audiophile?).
I'm stalking the susvara though.. it looks lovely and sounds like it sounds awesome too.
Case of want not need though (maybe until I actually hear one)...

as one who owns and absolutely loves the bakoon 13r take my word when I say it has no Issue with power....I cant say between the nimbus and bakoon that one is better than the other because I havent heard the nimbus although I did hear the violectric 550....I can however say whatever differences power will not be a determining factorDid anyone compared Bakkon AMP-13R and Niimbus US4+ with Susvara?

The comment regarding power was just to indicate that you don’t have to use speaker amp. But the question remains what is difference in sound?as one who owns and absolutely loves the bakoon 13r take my word when I say it has no Issue with power....I cant say between the nimbus and bakoon that one is better than the other because I havent heard the nimbus although I did hear the violectric 550....I can however say whatever differences power will not be a determining factor
