HiFiMan Susvara

I loved the WA33 with the 1266TC, but I really didn't like it that much with Susvara.

The TOTL Wells Audio stack blew everything else away.
I second this. The WA33 was much better synergized with the TC and the Utopia even.

Well, why then does HiFi Man recommend the EF100 with its 20W HP output power or that I can clearly hear a difference adding my AHB2 to either the CH2 or TT2 (also applies to the stealth)....AHB2 is the most "uncolored" amp I have ever listened to...a true "wire with gain"....maybe I should just use my CH2 with the Susvaras and sell all the rest as it should have enough "power" as he mentioned.....
..there is a reason that the amp hifiman built for it the EF1000 has so much power...that wasnt an accident

Hifiman recognizes that people uses poor quality chains that makes the end user think they need more power. Hifiman happily obliges by making a monstrosity of an amp at a staggering cost and is only made to order.

The real question is why hasn't hifiman updated the specs of the Susvara to reflect this? 😉😉 Because people with good chains willl meet the satisfactory requirement of 2mw, but ey I'll give headroom and say 500mw.

The TC/WA33 are definitely a match made in heaven. But I very much enjoyed the Susvara on it. Speaker amps did add just a bit more body and slightly better bass impact. And so I eventually swapped the WA33 for the EVO 400.

I do wonder if the Elite version is better in that regard. Always wish I could've tried it. Looking forward to the comparison w/the hifiman app.

When I ask around friends and hifi experts in stores. They mention bakoon and enleum.

Honestly giving over 6000dollars for an amp, is a little too much for me. But enleum is gonna make a DAC for there ENLINK/bnc connection?

Im locked into these two amps now. Can´t get out......the hifi trap is for real.

if they didn´t had the speaker outs, but preamp XLR instead. I would have contacted the bank

Enleum 23r:
"The headphone output shares exactly the same circuits all the way to the output section, and the output relay is switched and selects to output to the headphone jack when a headphone is inserted"

So its basically a speaker amp directly to headphone jack?

Even the Hifiman EF1000 with the Susvara ?
