Hey, if it doesn't have a touchscreen, I'd be in. Sounds like I'd like its SQ, except for the hiss, of course.Looks cool but without a modern touchscreen that displays album art just not interested in buying. Hope to hear it some day though.

Apparently, the HN801 was R2R. How about the 901(S)?

If you read comment the R2R2000 sound is the exact OPPOSITE of the Tera.As i like my Tera Player i am curious to hear the R2R2000 soon.

The 901 is using Sabre 9018
When you say "RAW" sound would you compare it to a more reference, analytical, colder kind of sound? Like perhaps FiiO X7? Or is it something else again. If you read comment the R2R2000 sound is the exact OPPOSITE of the Tera.

Ok so I found the Fiio X7 to sound NOTHING like you describe, it was super smooth and laid back with default amp So NOT like that. It sounds more reference for sure, but too me, not in the way I have heard it before. It feels as if music has zero veil or filter, for better or worse, it is the opposite of laidback and quite aggressive, so it will sound great if your music sounds great. When you say "RAW" sound would you compare it to a more reference, analytical, colder kind of sound? Basically, "raw" as in super transparent uncolored, that's my take from your impression

But also very forward...completely not laid back. I wonder how that is achieved frequency wiseBasically, "raw" as in super transparent uncolored, that's my take from your impression
The HM-60X series were R2R, IIRC.

Don’t know this DAP and how it sounds. Maybe more luxury than precision?
Edit: I think there is a review on headfonia ...

That dap is even more limited and I think it is 6-10 unit release and extremely costly.
The so mentioned music players, not that are expensive but all the firmware updates cannot make their operations perfect.
I am focusing now on the Lotoo Paw Gold Touch and how it is.

How about EQ? Does this DAP have a good one?
And is there an internal storage capacity or just one micro sd card? And if so, can it read the 400GB sandisc micro SD card?
