Does anybody have a frequency chart comparing --V2-- --STEALTH-- and --SE-- ? I could not find one

however if you like a different approach with coloring and tubes ofcourse I would recommend trying other amps, but honest representation and AIO will always, in 99% scenarios. I had one experience where my external amp sounded more true and represented the DACs true character.

RME ADI-2 FS very good on this part I like the internal amp on it. However it tends to be a little loose in the lowend, which an amp should not fix this, but EQ will.

Look at a EQ like a tank with water and the water flows straight through without any pressure on a flat EQ.

If you turn down the water - the high frequencies it will fill and make pressure on the lowend and starts to emphasize this area.

This is not a 100% correct but it is close. Rather substract than add on EQ. Find the strong/weak parts on the headphone which in this scenario is the sharp high notes or treble.

Surly the HE100v2 would beat the HE6v2 hands down (or ears down).

Be careful for what you wish for. My HE400SE beats the Arya V2 ...to my taste

Agreed hard to beat the HEKSE at its price point right now. You just get differences in sound signature. But at its price right now it’s the most complete headphone out there and closer to getting the Susvara sound. Without breaking the bank. Not to mention easy to drive and scales very well.

In terms of bass impact under 70 Hz the 6 v1 or 2 is better, that's it. All HEK's and 6's of all vintages need PEQ IMO. The HEK v2 needs it the least, followed by the Stealth - IMO of course.

Hmmm. I think the HEK Stealth at $1.4 is better value then the SE at $2k - esp if once can sit on that 6k rise of the Stealth

I personally find that everything past the 640hz filter degrades the audio quality on the HEKS, and the bass filters are the best solution for this particular headphone.

Maybe the BK50218 measurement will offer a more clear look into what is actually going on with the FR, or maybe it just isn't a good candidate for mid / treble EQ. I did not find this to be the case with my LCD-5; it responded well to EQ in all areas of the FR.
