It is only logical to name the Stealth V3.
The box only says HE-1000.

But the rest of the description is a bit misleading.
Here the impression is given that all these are changes from V2 to V3 (headband, weight, pads, etc.).
These are changes that have taken place from V1 to V2...

Exactly, this is V1 to V2 changes.

HE1000 lineup is getting really confusing.
If HE1000v2 gets Stealth upgrade, where does it leave HE1000SE that already have one and subjectively less popular than V2.

I feel the SE shouldn't have been called the HE-1000.
The driver appears to be very different from the original model, allowing for the significantly lower power requirement.

I already had the impression with the HE6V2 that these "high-power-planars" have their very own sound (in a positive sense).
For me, the HE-1000 Stealth is the true successor, the SE was more of a mobile by-product.

They are probably unchanged.
Good news for me.
I'm not quite sure if the indication of the impedance +-3 ohms is new.

I feel this is going to be one of the most interesting units of 2023 - I very recently demoed the Arya V3 having had a V2 and returning it promptly, and it absolutely blew me away. Seeing the HEKV2 at 50% more seemed a total steal, but now seeing a Stealth version on the way, I'm glad I'm not able to pull the trigger yet. Make no mistake, I'd be really happy with either, but seeing that there might be a best of both options is really exciting.

It'll be very interesting to see how it stacks up and prices up in 2023. If it keeps the current HE1000 price for the capability I think they could be as disruptive as the Aryas are right now. Just now need to see how the change in sound is, but I'm quite excited.
