Just spoke to the owner of hifi lounge who is in touch with his hifiman connection and he's said it could be a lot sooner than people think.

Just had contact with Paul from HiFi Lounge and he recommended me a nice play to stay in the neighbourhood for a few days.
So now it's waiting for the HE-1000 to arrive with him and then taking a few days off and book the whole adventure.

HiFiman just open a thread asking for beta testers. I knew this was coming based on a conversation I had with Dr. Fang at CanJam. Based on this I don't think they will be released very soon. My guess is not in the next 6 weeks at least.

if it's going to be released early than we expect, then I would assume a May launch date. that's pretty exciting, though I definitely won't have the funds to purchase it in May hahah.
