I can confirm that, at least in the UK, I was able to order my unit for £1850 or around 2000 euroes. I am still enjoying the hell out of them, just giving them some more time to run in.

I think the HEK height adjustment is very important. A while back,I went rather OTT with this post Here.

So OTT, that it may have put some people off trying. But I stand by what I said.
The end result was a position lower than felt normal, but it did bring the ear canal closer to the widest part of the enclosure, which I'm guessing is the main cause of the change of presentation.

I have been messing a bit and yeah, pushing it down a bit does sound better. I'll keep messing, right now I have one hole exposed beneath the slider and that's a good balance of comfort, but I'll keep seeing where we go.

Edit: 3 holes seems to be perfect. The size of the headphone makes it actually a challenge on my stand though, so I hope my dealer gets Shangri-la stands soon.

I had actually ordered HE1000V2 (non stealth,) through my dealer here. It will take 4 more weeks to come. Can people suggest If I should ask my dealer to get HE1000 stealth version. Please help provide your feedback. I like large soundstage and punchy bass so I think in case I'll miss ine of these. Because general feedback is the stealth version provide punchy bass and non stealth version provides larger soundstage. Also I read thst Non Stealth can be EQ more precisely than the stealth version. I'm new to this so seeking help

That is almost impossible to tell without knowing your preferences... but might suggest that since you have no attachment to the original HE1000 you would be able to enjoy the benefits of the stealth magnets without noticing (or being led to notice) any deficicencies people say they may produce.

I personally made sure to get the stealth and I'm glad I did.

Pardon my ignorance and I forgot where I read it (i slept since then lol) but I think I saw that a one pole to xlr/4.4 balanced will work on HE1000 even though it's a 2-pole (trs)? Or did I dream that lol.
I'm asking bc I wonder if my Copper PCUHD Premium Cable for Liric & 109 Pro will work with it. I assume not but I figured I'd ask.

want to know what I really like about my HE1000v2 ..... for my daily listen I use my HE6sev2 headphones, simply because they sound so good.... I'll wear those everyday for the week days and on the weekends I bring out my HE1000v2 ..... and I get to experience just how fantastic the HE1000v2 sounds.... its like I get a new headphone every single week.... amazing both sets... and when I need to have a closed back I pull out the Audeze LCD-XC21 ...... great great compliment to the Hifiman sets... life is good

I will have an oddly similar set of headphones when my HE1000 V2 arrives. I’ll have my HE500, the HE1000 V2, and LCD-X 2021
